Motivating the Public - Impacting the Economy

When a community is motivated, the economy is impacted in a positive way. Going back to the library example used in the previous blog, we can see that NGO's have the potential to motivate a community to do great things. I have seen the impacts a library built by an NGO can have on a community's economy first hand through my travels in Ghana, Africa. I began a study of 10 children in the rural village of Asikuma in the Spring of 2011. Throughout the course of my study, Kingdom Cares International has funded the building of a library in Asikuma. I have looked at different ways this has affected the economy, as well as these 10 children individually.
